Our nursery caters for up to 76 children, under 8 years & no more than 12 children under the age of 2 years, providing an advanced learning and playful environment, conforming to the highest standards.
Babies and children are cared for from the age of 3 mths, right up to school age. Riverside staff all have the relevant training, qualifications & experience. We are fully OFSTED Registered and operate to their strict guidelines.
Child Welfare
We understand that the early years of a child’s life are incredibly important, we provide all of the opportunities for children to grow & fulfil their potential. In order to develop physically, intellectually, emotionally & socially; children require a secure environment and strong relationships all around them. Ultimately, welfare and development are paramount. We are at all times, committed to good practice for the education and care of babies and children, applying equally when working with all children, including those who may have special educational needs.
Location
The nursery is located in Lower Darwen with easy access to the M65 and all major routes to Blackburn & Darwen. The setting is a private, secure area with ample parking. We also have an on-site purpose-built Swimming Academy, built in a separate building for use by Nursery children, when required.
Opening Hours
Opening hours are from 7:30-5:45pm, with Part & Full-Time sessions available.
